June 8

I thought I could add text to the pictures below but was unable to figure it out so here are the captions: Top pic is of the hair I have left. In the middle pic I am wearing the turban and the bangs that Chris gave me so I could have fun with a different look. At the bottom I am wearing the wig that was as close as we could get to my usual hair color and style. It s put away until I feel I really need it.
I will be starting the next four weeks of chemo tomorrow, Saturday. This week has been full of good times with friends, doctor's appointments, business in Honolulu and shopping at hardware stores, commissary, etc. I am feeling great and still find it hard to believe there is anything wrong with me. Although I get just a little more tired than usual, my optimism is undiminished. The ocean, sky and foliage are full of marvelous colors and the weather is perfect. Life is good! Let me hear from you by cmment here on the vlog or by e-mail. Aloha!

Hey, where are my photo credits? I know Vince is the professional photographer around here (those sunsets are beautiful) but these aren't bad for an amateur. I guess it's the model who looks so good! Love ya,

I like the look. Very Cute.

You have had a lot going on. When you come back to Santa Barbara, bring that cute daughter of yours to the Arts & Letters Cafe and join me for lunch. There is a story about the restorative powers of the pumpkin soup that you will like.

Be well

Your favorite art dealer,

Frank

Hey Joan, I like the bang look, you look hot! Sorry we missed you before you left for Hawaii. Looking forward to the wedding in sept. Save a dance for me, I'm a real half stepper you know. Hope your feeling O.K.. Love, Tim.

Hi Joan! Love the wigs, although I think you should go with a punk-rock green one for the fun of it. I am glad you are back in Hawaii and so impressed how tough you are. I'll bring Darwin up this weekend so he can dig up your beach. Look forward to enjoying more pupus, drinks and sunsets... Aloha

Loved your latest post and photos. The bangs look is a keeper. Your description of the beauty of Hawaii makes me want to buy a plane ticket. All the best in the months ahead.
